Come join us at the Ontario Construction Training Centre (OCTC) for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn the basics of trim carpentry by installing a pre-hung door and installing the casing. This event is perfect for beginners looking to gain practical skills in carpentry. Open to all skill levels. Why hire a carpenter to replace that door in your home? You can do it! If your a new carpenter and want to enhance your skills set this workshop is also for you. Our experienced instructor, Millwork contractor and Ontario Certified Teacher - John Oliveira will guide you through the process step-by-step, so don't worry if you're new to this! Get ready to boost your DIY game and add some serious value to your home. See you there! Please note that workshops dates are subject to change if we do not reach 50% enrollment. Workshops are subject to date changes due to unforeseen events. We will provide as much notice as possible in the event that a date change must be made. Examples of such events as; instructor / staff illness, equipment failure or other elements of health and safety risks which would prevent the workshop from proceeding would lead to rescheduling of the event. Participant cancellations and rescheduling will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
