"TOOLS PASSPORT's" are a OCTC Specific in house designation. Passports are issued for both in shop and jobsite based training. Once trainees have qualified to use specific equipment they are provided with a certificate card showing their tool passport and equipment allowed to operate within the shop environment. Similarly, once they have received site specific training like OHSA or Working at Heights they will receive a site based card showing completion of this training. This in house designation is effectively a "sign off" tracking system to prove due diligence in that specific trainees have gone through the standard in house training and are capable of operating specific tools. This course is catered specifically for our membership basis and Construction Skills classes that use the shop throughout the course of their membership/course. All courses and training will be synchronized with the OCTC application that can be downloaded on a trainee's smart phone for convenience.
